from Eddie Regan: .."Big 'Ol Dave with that strong left arm and his wry sense of humor, quietly and unassumingly gave us a glimpse of what is good and decent in this life."

You know I think the smile posted on this page says alot about David. That's the same kind, warm smile he had the whole time I knew him.  Great sense of humor and a kind word for all. I only saw him a few times after HS but was always greeted in the same warm manner. Susan and I send our love and prayers to his family.

"Russell" as lots of us called him ....was a awesome person who shared his life with Eleanor, a wonderful wife.  Their daughter Katie and son Taylor are shinning examples of his warm heart and great attitude about life and the joys we find in it every day.    Just as it was a sad day when David and Jerone passed away it is also a great day that the rest of us are here to enjoy the one more day God is giving us.  We have to enjoy every day with as much vigor that they did, and trust that we will see them again someday in another life.  We need to celebrate   the lives of our fellow classmates with joy and thanksgiving.   David always had a passion for enjoying the outdoors and every form of wildlife.  He made it his hobby and his career...."love what you do and do what you love"...was carried out by David.   Everyone who knew him saw a big guy with a big heart.  He was the ultimate in one liners and had the greatest way of making you laugh and smile even when it wasn't time to laugh!   I will miss one of the greatest people in my life but cherish every memory of the things we did in our years together and enjoyed hearing about all the things he did with his other friends and family in his life.
