bobby was my wifes cousin. They had a great time together growing up. He was always fun to be around. Joking and laughing. She mentioned the would both go out some Friday nights just to go dancing and have some fun as 20 year olds would do. No one from the family let my wife know he had died years ago.. What a shame. He will be truly missed by her and his mother and brothers and sons.
tribute by david byrdBobby was truly one of the "good guys" who rarely called attention to himself but always had a special glow and a winning smile. Once in a while, I would see him in his yard on Highway 62 as I traveled to and from work. A simple toot from my horn and a wave from my hand would generate a response that included his toothy grin and a return greeting. May his loved ones find comfort in the knowledge that others respected and appreciated Bobby Beane, his life and his legacy. Surely, he died too young and will be missed.
